Робоча зустріч з Mission East для розвитку інфраструктури для ветеранів

У Мішково-Погорілівській громаді відбулася робоча зустріч команди Mission East з українськими та місцевими партнерами, присвячена подальшому розвитку ветеранської інфраструктури та створенню доступного й інклюзивного простору для підтримки ветеранів.

У зустрічі взяли участь представники головного офісу Mission East — Бетіна Голландер Єнсен, Май Форум та Тулшінам Кішто Мохур. Українську команду організації представляли Костянтин Мацко та Неллі Яровенко. Також до діалогу долучилися начальниця Відділу з питань ветеранської політики Миколаївської ОВА Наталія Мороз та Голова Мішково-Погорілівської сільської ради Андрій Ботанін.

Разом із головою Мішково-Погорілівської сільської ради Андрієм Ботаніним команда Mission East обговорила проблеми та виклики з якими стикається громада, а також пріорітети у гуманітарній допомозі для громади. Значну увагу приділили ветеранському напрямку, адже створення якісних просторів підтримки та доступних послуг для ветеранів є важливим елементом розвитку громади та її стійкості.

Під час візиту учасники оглянули простір майбутнього ветеранського хабу. Екскурсію провела фахівчиня із супроводу ветеранів та демобілізованих осіб Альона Дон, яка представила вже наявні напрацювання та функціональні зони.

У межах обговорення було розглянуто перспективи подальшого облаштування простору з урахуванням принципів інклюзії та доступності — зокрема розширення входів для безперешкодного доступу, встановлення пандусу та адаптації санітарно-гігієнічного блоку відповідно до потреб маломобільних груп населення. Окрему увагу приділено відновленню актової зали та створенню багатофункціонального простору для проведення заходів, зустрічей і психологічного відновлення ветеранів.

Учасники відзначили важливість вже зроблених кроків громади у розвитку цього простору та підкреслили необхідність його подальшого вдосконалення, щоб забезпечити справді безпечне, доступне та функціональне середовище для ветеранів і їхніх родин. Саме такі умови є ключовими для якісної соціальної адаптації та відновлення після служби.

A working meeting between the Mission East team and Ukrainian and local partners was held in the Mishkovo-Pogorilivska community, focused on the further development of veteran support infrastructure and the creation of an accessible and inclusive space to support veterans.

The organization’s Ukrainian team was represented by Kostyantyn Matsko and Nelly Yarovenko. Also joining the dialogue were Natalia Moroz, Head of the Department of Veterans’ Policy at the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, and Andriy Botanin, Chairman of the Mishkovo-Pogorilivka Village Council.

Together with Andriy Botanin, Chair of the Mishkovo-Pogorilivka Village Council, the Mission East team discussed the problems and challenges facing the community, as well as priorities for humanitarian aid to the community. Significant attention was paid to veteran-related issues, as the creation of quality support spaces and accessible services for veterans is a crucial element of community development and resilience.

During the visit, participants toured the site of the future veterans’ hub. The tour was led by Alona Don, a specialist in support for veterans and demobilized individuals, who presented the existing infrastructure and functional areas.

The discussion focused on the prospects for further developing the space in accordance with the principles of inclusion and accessibility—specifically, expanding entrances for barrier-free access, installing a ramp, and adapting the restroom facilities.
